Sunday Night Cult Gathering

Attention, connoisseurs of the strange: we take over the Ragtag bar to see what can only be shown at the Sunday night cult gathering. Free! August 31: The Fearless Vampire Killers, one of Roman Polanski's more overt comedies, in which he stars as one of two vampire killers called upon to rescue the beautiful Sharon Tate. September 7: Riding the Bus with My Sister, in which Rosie O'Donnell does a not-very-credible version of a developmentally disabled person. Sept. 14: The Mansion of Madness, wherein inmates take over the asylum. Sept. 21: Educational films that show us how to behave — from dating to driving. Sept. 28: Mountain of the Cannibal God, starring Ursula Andress lost in the New Guinea jungle in search of a secret tribe.

The Goat, or Who is Sylvia

Written by Edward Albee and directed by Matt Saltzberg, this is the tale of a married, middle-aged architect whose life crumbles when he falls in love with a goat, the play focuses on where the limits of an ostensibly liberal society are. Through showing this family in crisis, Albee challenges audience members to question their own morality in the face of other social taboos including infidelity, homosexuality, incest and, of course, bestiality. The play also features many language games and grammatical arguments in the middle of catastrophes and existential disputes between the characters.
