Fresh off the incredibly successful Midnight In Paris, prolific writer-director Woody Allen travels to another beloved European capital in his latest comedy To Rome With Love. In less than two hours, Allen presents four vignettes set in the famous Italian city. In one story, Alec Baldwin plays an architect observing a familiar love triangle between three young friends (Jesse Eisenberg, Ellen Page and Greta Gerweig). In another, Allen himself appears as an American opera director who discovers a singing mortician. Roberto Benigni and Penelope Cruz star in the other two stories.
"As frothy as the milk atop a cappuccino. One of the most delightful things about To Rome With Love is how casually it blends the plausible and the surreal, and how unabashedly it revels in pure silliness." (AO Scott, the New York Times)
